South Kingstown – 4th of July Celebration

South Kingstown, Rhode Island 

The South Kingstown Recreation Commission and Parks and Recreation Department are pleased to announce the Town’s Annual Fourth of July Celebration at Old Mountain Field in Wakefield, RI. The festivities will start at 5:30pm and feature a live concert by Take it to the Bridge, followed by a spectacular fireworks display at approximately 9:00pm.

The public is invited to bring their blankets and folding chairs, to relax and sing along with the band, dance, and celebrate in the park.   Because of the expected crowds, attendees who have not been vaccinated are encouraged to wear face coverings if in close contact with others.  Attendees are reminded that alcohol is prohibited in the park; and for this event pets should be left at home. This program is free of charge, however donations will be accepted to defray some of the costs; and a 50/50 raffle will be held immediately before the fireworks.
