Charleston Chamber of Commerce – Seafood Festival

CHARLESTOWN, RI (June 26, 2024) — Save the date! The Charlestown Seafood Festival – named a “Top 100 Event in North America” and listed as one of 10 Best Summer Seafood Festivals in the Northeast – is thrilled to announce that the 39th Annual Charlestown Seafood Festival will be held this summer on August 2, 3 & 4, 2024 at Charlestown’s Ninigret Park in Rhode Island.

The Seafood Festival is the biggest fundraiser for the Charlestown Chamber of Commerce. The funds raised by The Charlestown Seafood Festival are vital to the Chamber’s mission to support local businesses and boost tourism.

“We are excited for our 39th Annual Charlestown Seafood Festival in 2024! This event supports almost everything we do for the community. The Charlestown Seafood Festival is our primary fundraiser,” said Heather Paliotta, executive director of the Charlestown Chamber of Commerce and director of The Charlestown Seafood Festival. “We have a full list of incredible food vendors (most are long time repeat vendors with a handful of new ones). Our total number of food vendors this year is over 55. Our daily live entertainment features live daily bands and lots of amusements; our beer, wine and hard seltzer tents will be filled with beer from Budweiser and craft breweries, wines & Prosecco and a variety of hard seltzers. We are excited to have expanded our kids zone this year, inside of the festival, with free activities for kids to include not only face painting, clowns, jugglers, and balloon twisters but we have added photos with a real live mermaid, and games such as corn hole, ladder ball, sea horse ring toss, an ocean themed tic tac toe, checkers, big jenga, and a giant connect four.”

The Charlestown Seafood Festival is a three-day event which attracts close to 50,000 people.
