Who are the professionals every business owner needs to have on their team to help them plan, grow and protect their business?  This panel will answer that question and provide insights into the many ways they can alleviate your stress, reduce your risk and fortify your business.

Megan Johnson, VP Commercial Relationship Manager, Webster Bank 

Megan is a dynamic sales and operations professional with seventeen years of in-depth experience in banking, commercial lending, branch management, revenue generation as well as team development.  She is responsible for originating commercial loans and developing banking relationships with existing and prospective clients in Rhode Island, Southeastern MA, and surrounding communities.

In addition to commercial lending a key component of her role is to assist clients with managing their cash flow and recommending efficiencies for their company via cash management and fraud prevention solutions.

Areas of focus with respect to lending include SBA (Express, 7a, 504, Export), Commercial Real Estate (owner occupied & investment), SWAP, ABL, Letters of Credit, Cash Secured, Equipment, Fleet Financing, Factoring, and Marine Vessels.

Melina Trudeau, Esq., Lonardo Forte & Trudeau

Melina is an attorney licensed to practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.  Melina has a passion for helping her small business clients and individual business owners make practical decisions regarding their legal needs.  Her clients also include mental health providers, accountants, nurses, and other professionals in need of legal advice.  In addition to her trial experience, Melina has served as an arbitrator and a mediator.  

With her business clients, Melina focuses on creating practices and procedures for her clients to negotiate contracts, leases, providing advice on day-to-day activities from a legal perspective, and resolving employment related disputes.  In addition to her almost twenty (20) years of practicing law, she teaches as an adjunct faculty member at Roger Williams School of Justice studies in both the undergraduate paralegal program and in the Master of Public Administration program.
